True Crime Podcasts

Coffee and Cases is a true crime podcast where we like our coffee hot and our cases cold. Join us (Allison and Maggie) weekly to dive into the unknown and the unsolved.

E121: Brianna Maitland

Brianna Maitland had been struggling lately with school and with friends, but she had just begun turning her life back around and regaining control. The morning of Friday, March 19th, 2004, she had earned her GED and was talking with her mother about college. By that evening, she had vanished.

E120: Tamala "Nikki" Wells

In 2012 Detroit was struggling. Poverty rates were skyrocketing, crime rates were drastically increasing, and police were overwhelmed. When one young woman went missing during the height of this madness, her family feels her case was overlooked, but now we are hoping to help bring her the justice she deserves.

E119: Anita Knutson

Anita Knutson had just finished her first year as an elementary education major at Minot State University. She was looking forward to summer and spending more time with her family. So, when her family called and called her with no answer, they knew something was wrong. What actually happened was everyone’s worst nightmare.

E118: Eddie Brown

The world seems to stop in a small town when one of their own dies. Ties are tested and strengthened as a community grieves. But the bonds of a community are tested even more when a pillar in the community is brutally murdered and 30 years later they are still searching for answers.

E117: The Lady of the Dunes

New Englanders in the 1970s felt the imposed fear of sharks from the recent filming of Jaws in Martha’s Vineyard alongside the very real fear of a killer on the loose when, less than 100 miles away from the film site, a brutalized corpse was discovered, creating more questions than answers.

E116: Jeannette DePalma

When a young girl goes missing and the police try to say she's a runaway, no one believes them. When she doesn’t turn up days, then weeks later, police begin to wonder. When a dog turns up with a severed arm, a search for a missing girl begins.

Is the Cold Case podcast overdone?

The hosts have a real connection not only to each story but to each other as well. There is banter but for the most part it is not overdone. They have a real desire for these cold cases to be solved or at least kept in the public eye. A really great podcast worth subscribing to.
