Why do you need a podcast?

You’ll also need to sign up to a podcast distribution site, who automatically send each episode off to Spotify, Apple Podcasts and wherever else you want people to be able to listen. I’d recommend Anchor, which is free and easy to use.

Why does every YouTuber have a podcast?

  • You can listen to a podcast while doing something else (walking the dog, exercising)
  • You get content you can’t get anywhere else (see Web Page Under Construction or Congressional Dish )
  • In many cases people are taking a “Deep dive” into a subject vs the six minute interview you get on TV.

What can you put on a podcast?

There are a few solutions to get licensed music for a podcast:

Should your podcast be audio or video?

The audio is mute by default. Adding video to your podcast makes it a bit more engaging for social media users when they come across it in their feed. Yes, you can post audio clips to social media, but they aren’t immediately engaging like videos.
