GBC has numerous ministries and meetings which are geared toward pointing people to the worship of the Lord. The GBC Youth Camp has ministered to many young people since 2002. Dr. Wells has a passion for teaching and training young men for the ministry.
Where is Pastor Michael Poindexter?
Pastor Michael Poindexter was born December 4, 1976 in Asheboro NC. He was born again September 6, 1998 at Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Denton, NC. Shortly after being saved the Lord began to deal with Pastor Poindexter about his call to preach. As many other men can testify, he ran from the call initially, but after about two years finally surrendered. After training for a few years at his home church, he felt lead of the Lord to start a church in Seagrove NC. The building was secured in Feburary of 2005. After about four weeks of renovating the property and knocking on hundreds of doors with the help of many precious friends and co-labours, the first service of the Lighthouse Baptist Church was held. Starting with just his family, the work in Seagrove has been greatly blessed of the Lord. Bro. Michael graduated from Calvary Baptist Bible College in King NC in 2013. He is married to Rikki Beth Poindexter and they have five children: Seth, Julianna, Lydia, Jacob & Micah

The Lord has blessed Bro. Aldridge with 3 children Lydia, Seth, and Haven who are also involved in the Lord’s work. Bro. Steven enjoys spending time with his family on trips, around the house, coaching his sons ball team, and ministering together.

Pastor Wells taught for 5 years at the Carolina Baptist College before joining the faculty of Grace Baptist Bible Institute in 2010. Pastor Wells’ other interests include politics where he serves as the director of Faith Engagement for the South Carolina GOP.

Bro Steven Aldridge was born May 23, 1981 into a preacher and pastors home and raised in the house of God and around the ministry. At age 14 he was born again at Light on the Mountain Youth Camp on June 23, 1995.
