Finally decided to give Up and Vanished a listen and...HUH?!?!!?

I know I'm super late to the party on this, but bc of PL's reputation as a full-blown chode and the amount of other amazing recs on this sub I just never had any interest in listening to UAV. Had a long car ride this weekend and am fresh out of new pods to binge, so I decided to give S1 a shot.

Murder in Illinois is insulting my intelligence

I'm sorry for another post about this godawful podcast, but I can't stop hate listening to it. It's an uncritical presentation of the defense's extraordinarily weak case, with little interest in presenting any of the prosecution's evidence (both direct and circumstantial). I want to pull my hair out listening to it.

Suggestions for long form investigative podcasts?

So, I’ve started exercising. But I am really NOT an exercise person. I’ve found the only way to get myself through it is to have a good true crime podcast going to distract myself. I prefer long form simply because I’m not always interested in the cases when it’s a one case per episode deal.

Don't fall for ratings of a podcast

Let me Clarify, only you know what you like. Elements of a podcast differ and it is subjective, so what others like, you might not. It is also true that ratings speak for an average feeling of the listeners but it's not aways true. Never not listen to a podcast just because you read a few reviews about it being "waste of time.

Crime show - the man with no name. This podcast episode has induced my first ever jaw drop. Give it a listen

Edit: Crime show - A man with no name" it's Spotify only by the way. If you don't have Spotify, download It literally just for this lol. Also, every other podcast episode from "Crime Show" is really good.

Podcast Recommendation - True Crime South Africa

Many of the recommendations in the sub can lean quite heavily to US cases so wanted to share a recommendation a bit off the beaten track: True Crime South Africa.

Your Own Backyard - What happened?

Does anyone know what happened to his blog and social media? I was following the hallway blogs during the beginning of the trial. Last thing I saw on his August 10 blog was that he was being subpoenaed by the defense and he's stopping the blog. But now his IG and FB are gone as well.
