iOS 14.6 brings some changes to Apple Card, too. Spouses and partners can now merge accounts to build credit equally, something that’s not usually possible with conventional cards. And a new feature called Apple Card Family means that anyone over 13 can now use your account, with spending limits in place to keep tabs on whoever is using it.

Lossless Audio

This isn’t going live until some time next month, but iOS 14.6 lays the groundwork for Apple’s new high-fidelity music streaming option.

How to update

To get iOS 14.6 or iPadOS 14.6, head to Settings > General > Software Update. Then simply follow the instructions to download and install the update. If you have Automatic Updates enabled, you may find it has already installed – in which case you’ll see a message stating that your device is up to date.
