You might be offering the best service in the world but it doesn’t matter if you’re not mindful of the way others feel.

Is every sales job supposed to feel like a war zone?

The amount of toxic people, politics, fakeness/lies, cultlike-cultures, and just general bullshit that I have to deal with at every sales job I’ve had is seriously mind blowing. It’s so bad that I honestly feel a lot more peaceful when I’m selling and feel like I’m more my real self with my clients than I am with coworkers/management.

Anyone else feel trapped by the lucrative skill set?

There are days like today when I think about a field with less stress, more routine. Ignoring the fact that I would hate that after 6 months, I'm feeling stuck knowing that it would take a while to find a job that pays as well as my current SaaS role.

How do you celebrate a big commission check?

Would be fun to know how others celebrate a big check and would be interesting to hear what 'big' is in your industry!

How do you get these lucrative sales positions making tens of thousands a month?

Pretty straight forward question. I only ask because I’m new to sales and I’m in the insurance industry this is my second sales job and my first year in the field. I primarily ask this because I would like to learn ways to make myself a viable candidate for these lucrative jobs.

My manager wants to present to my client, should I let him?

I started in high end real estate sales a month ago and this is the first time I have to present to a client. My manager offered to present to him instead. I wanted to have my ice break sale already but I feel like if we landed this sale, I won't feel as happy as if I did it myself on the other hand, he has higher chances of securing the sale.
