BONUS: How Fiction Can Grow Your Faith (with Tim Shoemaker)

We’re back with another bonus episode! These shorter episodes are always a fun way to bring you some extra podcast goodness as a way to say thank you for your support of this show. After recording this week’s episode with Tim Shoemaker (such a good one if you haven’t listened yet!), we started having a conversation about the power of Christian fiction on our faith, and I just had to hit record! Honestly, this is something I’d never been able to articulate before, but Tim broke it down so clearly. Nonfiction is written to our heads, with the hopes that part of it will trickle down to our hearts.

Customer Reviews

So thankful God led Jill to start this podcast to encourage us to give up the idea of perfection as moms and wives. Loved her episode 72 on decision making (great timing at new year as we all strive for perfection) and also episode 69 on people pleasing with Karen Ehman. Highly recommend you tune in!

The Most Perfect Album: Episode 5

The Reconstruction Amendments — the 13th, 14th and 15th — were meant to rebuild the country after the Civil War. More Perfect takes a look at some of the echoes of the amendments today.

The Most Perfect Album: Episode 4

Episode Four begins, as all episodes should: with Dolly Parton. Parton wrote a song for us (!) about the 19th Amendment and women (finally) getting the right to vote.

The Most Perfect Album: Episode 3

When the drafters of the Constitution arrived at Amendment 9, all tangibility went out the window. Get trippy with More Perfect as we try to understand the 9th, 10th and 11th amendments.
