What is on our watch?
On Our Watch is an investigative reporting podcast produced by KQED and NPR. The case files covered in the series were obtained as part of the California Reporting Project , a collaboration of 40 newsrooms formed in late 2018 to investigate misconduct and serious use of force that would be unsealed by a new state law. Mehserle's lawyer Michael Rains disputed this finding in an interview with NPR and KQED, calling the Meyers Nave analysis "flawed" and based on a single frame of video. "That's probably one one thousandth of a second," Rains said.
