I just wanted to let you know that newest versions locally mark podcasts as 'heard' so that they won't play again if 'Play Unheard Episodes Only' is selected. I have also fixed a bizarre bug that caused the podcast to sometimes not play for certain users.

Been searching for so long and finally something like this happened! It works the basics. However, would be great to be able to subscribe to multiple podcasts so it can keep playing in turns until user stops them (alternative daily news sources in the morning for example).
