Where did Christine meet Em?
grad schoolChristine: Em and I met in grad school but didn't become close until we were both living in LA two years later! We would spend hours every night swapping creepy ghost and true crime stories until one day Em asked if I'd be interested in hosting a podcast.
Where did Christine Schiefer go to school?
Summit Country DaySchiefer graduated from Summit Country Day and is now 29. The podcasting pair met in college at Boston University and became friends after graduation when they both moved to Los Angeles to pursue film careers. "We both had very entry level, cliche Hollywood jobs.

Growing up in a small and haunted Virginia town, Em developed an affinity for sweet tea and ghost stories, so it’s no surprise that a podcast about the dead would be firmly planted in Em’s path.

Originally hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, Christine spent the 1990s doing all the things normal American kids do, like devouring Stephen King novels, attempting late-night séances, and analyzing her elementary school classmates for signs of the homicidal triad.
