The book recommendations and bibliographies that Dan has guided me to have been outstanding — as I think he admits, he only relies on the best. I’ve been introduced to Peter Hart, Victor Davis Hanson, Barbra Tuchman, Pierre Briant (to lesser extent as his stuff is expensive), Ian Toll and others. Often these come from the one-hit addendum episodes.
