Is the Simpsons an intelligent show?

This is very scary to think that they could have predicted this. In the New York times, it says that The Simpsons can easily predict the future because they make the episodes one year before they air. This makes a lot of sense because for the very intelligent people writing the episodes it is very easy for them to predict events that could happen.

How did the show Simpsons start?

The Simpsons holds the record as the longest-running animated television series in U.S. history. The Simpsons began in 1987 as a cartoon short on the Tracy Ullman Show, a variety program on the Fox Broadcasting Company. Expanded to half an hour, it debuted as a Christmas special on December 17, 1989, and then began airing regularly in January 1990.
