10 Michael Rosenbaum Could Have Been Jeff

Most fans cannot imagine anyone else but Joel McHale as Jeff Winger. However, he was certainly not the only choice.

9 John Oliver Was Meant To Be A Season Regular

One of the most beloved recurring characters on the show was Professor Ian Duncan, played by John Oliver. Unfortunately, Oliver's role in the show was very small, and he was completely absent for a few seasons.

8 Ken Jeong Consulted An Acting Coach For All Of His Earlier Scenes

Ken Jeong is one of the most successful character actors of the last few years thanks to his work in The Hangover franchise and Community. However, he was originally insecure about his acting abilities during the show's first season as he had only recently quit his medical career.

7 Dan Harmon Used To Pay For The Music

Like most show creators, Dan Harmon was extremely passionate about the show, and for Harmon, that meant that he would do anything to make it a success. Therefore, he would often pay for the use of licensed music when the studio would refuse to.

6 The Show Had So Little Money That Their Wrap Party Had To Be On Set

As most fans of the show know, Community always worked under a very tight budget. Thankfully, this led to some of the most creative moments in TV history, but it also meant that the cast had to go without certain luxuries.

After the table read, the cast all moved onto The Darkest Timeline, and in it, Donald Glover found out that he wasn't part of their group chat.

Podcasts WITHOUT chitchat

I love True Crime but I cannot stand the podcasts with all the chit chat. It drives me insane! I do not want to hear about your baby or kids and those syrupy voices just suck the life out of me. Can anyone recommend a professional podcast that just tells the story? I have listened to all of Datelines and 20/20.

Switched over from My Favorite Murder to Morbid

For the last two years my favorite murder just hasn’t been the same. I miss them riffing and being messy and having actual fun on the podcast. Now it’s truly just them reading off a piece of paper an intern printed off… and I guess even more recently it’s an infinite hiatus?

Could anyone recommend a podcast about incels? I'd like to know more about their history, origins, beliefs etc. Preferably an investigative journalism framework but any will do for a start

I'd like to learn more about incels. They seem to be coming to the fore in the media recently and I'd like to better understand what they are about.

My "Your Episodes" list on spotify is absolutely stacked as I opened every thread related to podcast recommendations

I'm eternally grateful to all those who participate in those discussions. I'm stockpiled for at least MONTHS on end. It almost got me looking forward to my night shifts at the warehouse. (Yeah, OSHA, are you seeing this? I'm learning interesting shit, like that Scottish woman who can smell whether you've got early signs of Parkinson's disease)

The Opening Arguments podcast put out an episode about a scam company currently trying to get podcast advertising you might want to share with your favourites soon: "We Turned Down Ads for a Scam Company Called CrowdHealth. Other Shows May Not. Send Them This!"
