Why is Acme called we met?

As far as we're concerned, New York–based dating expert Lindsey Metselaar of We Met at Acme (named after the buzzy restaurant-bar in Manhattan) is a modern-day Carrie Bradshaw, who takes a good look at the dating world and critiques it down to every last detail.

How did Lindsey metselaar meet her boyfriend?

Lindsey first met Steven Greene at a mutual friend's birthday party in 2015. “He went to high school with my college friend Britni, so I always knew of him and he knew of me,” Lindsey says.

Who is Lindsey metselaar?

Lindsey Metselaar is a native New-Yorker and CEO of Lindsey's Lunchbox. Lindsey is a food Instagram influencer, with almost 80 thousand following along. After many dating experiences, Lindsey felt it was imperative to create this podcast and shed a light on this touchy subject.

Where did Lindsey metselaar grow up?

NYCAlso, I've never been to Atlanta, and I've heard the food there is amazing. How do you think being a born and raised New Yorker has influenced you being an entrepreneur? LM: Growing up in NYC definitely played a huge part in making me self-sufficient.

How old is Lindsey We met at Acme?

Podcast host Lindsey Metselaar, 29, knows first-hand how choppy the proverbial dating pool can be.

Does Lindsey metselaar drink?

I had no problem being like, "Yeah, I don't drink, but I love Diet Coke, so I'm going to get that.” It also depends on the level of sobriety. For me, it's okay if people are drinking around me or we're at a bar, but I know that's not the case for everyone.

What's Lindsey's number one rule of what not to do after a date?

Her simple dating rules for women (in hetero relationships) are as follows: Don't have sex with them on the first date. No more than two drinks on the first few dates, because nobody likes someone who's sloppy. Don't text them thank you after the date, because you already thanked them on the date.
