I've listened to a bunch of true crime podcasts, and while I often find the cases interesting, I can't stand how the host/s try to...manipulate listeners into thinking a certain way through gossip and hearsay (if that makes sense).

Can you recommend a podcast that pulled you out of a rut, or one you would recommend to a podcast junkie in a current rut? Nothing is working for me and I am having podcast withdrawals! I just can’t find anything that’s truly capturing my attention.

I'm thinking along the lines of something you might hear on this American Life, or Noble Blood but the episodes are the stories of everyday people. It could be interviews with elderly people, or it could be telling the story of people's ancestors who have already passed away.

I've bought the JBL Clip 4 and it's awful for podcasts, bass is super strong and you can't understand what the speakers are saying unless you increase volume to max and even then it's pretty bad, it's very loud but you still can't understand.

Business podcasts always seem to have successful business people on and they talk about their lives and their successes and what they do in business. I have yet to run into a business ownership podcast that explains like you’re five what NEEDS to be done on a daily, monthly, yearly basis. I mean dumb down a business plan.
