Great podcast, hit and miss guests
This is one of the best podcasts of it's kind. Many of the bad reviews here are from right wingers shocked and horrified that a podcast doesnt coddle them, which is all the endorsement a normal person should need. Unfortunately, the guests can be pretty bad.

5 years ago my question got answered on my favorite podcast. The hosts advice changed my life and has recently paid off in a big official way. Should I tell them?

I guess my major qualm is that I don’t want to seem like I’m trying to use their podcast as promo for my new project... I just want them to know I took their advice and how far I’ve come.

NYT "Caliphate" Producer Andy Mills Resigns After Resurfaced Sexual Harassment Accusations

In the Dark Season 2, Holy crap

I'm a baker, so I work with my hands all day and spend my time listening to STUFFFFF. I enjoy quIte a few podcasts and audiobooks, but find it hard to get fully immersed in much. I've spent the last two days completely down the rabbit hole of In the Dark season two, addressing the death sentence conviction of Curtis Flowers in Mississippi.

I'm looking for podcasts like Radio Rental, Spooked, Something was Wrong. Any suggestions?

I really love a podcast where someone is telling their whack ass story, and it feels like I'm chatting with a friend and we're discovering something fucked up or scary. Stuff like Spooked, Snap Judgement, Radio Rental, Something was Wrong.

If Joe Rogan's podcast is one of the most popular in the world, why aren't there more podcasts that have episodes that run for 3-plus hours?

Just seems like there would be more podcasts going for longer episodes, if it's been clearly proven to be a wildly popular format. Obviously not a good fit for a variety of types of podcasts, but not something I've seen much. Or maybe there are a ton of long podcasts I just don't know about?

People telling their own stories?

Hi! I'm looking for podcasts similar to Radio Rental, I Survived, Criminal, and This is Actually Happening. Ideally scary/creepy stories told by the person who actually went through it.

Breaking up with a podcast?

It's weird, but I've found this more and more as I got into my 12th year of listening to podcasts. I've found I've had to start letting some of my favourite ones go.

Audiochuck Does It Again!

First they steal content for individual episodes, now they are just copying entire podcasts. Ashley Flowers has made millions using these tactics. Why do people continue to support these frauds?

We are overdue for a new podcast genre about debunking

I just realized that 90% of the podcasts I listen to are about debunking other sources of information, and meta-journalistic reporting. I found myself very excited about the release of the new Science vs episode about Joe Rogan, and that caused me to evaluate my podcast subscriptions. I listen to Knowledge Fight religiously.

The Science Vs episode on Joe Rogan is not exclusive to Spotify

Science Vs has a new episode out, debunking claim made in Joe Rogan's interview with Dr. Robert Malone. It's not exclusive to Spotify, despite what they said at the end of last season, it'll show up in your RSS feed or wherever you listen to podcasts.

Non-exploitative true crime

I’m looking for podcasts similar to In the Red Clay, Relative Unknown, and Wild Boys. I love true crime and bingeworthy/suspenseful podcasts that don’t always end with a woman being raped and murdered.

Can anyone sugest a good True Crime podcast where the hosts don't repeat the word "like" every two seconds?

i already hear and love Crime Junkie (and all ashley flowers pods) and would like to hear something good in this area, but every pod i find, i just don't like how the hosts are constantly repeating the word "like". english is not my first language, so i guess i notice more this kind of things?
