Should a weekly presentation be laser specific?

The weekly presentation should be laser specific every and you should talk about a different product or a different service. That is different than a elevator pitch which is going to be more general and it tells people who you are and what you do in general terms. If you do a basic elevator pitch every week in BNI you are wasting your time.

Can you use elevator pitch in BNI?

Maybe, you use your elevator pitch in BNI on a visitors day. So it’s a little more general but doing an elevator pitch week in and week out, where it’s in general terms what you do, is not what you want to do in a BNI meeting. Your elevator pitch is different from your weekly presentation.

What are some ways to follow up on a BNI fundraiser?

You go to the chamber function, or Rotary, Kawanas or Lions. When you go to a fundraiser, these are great opportunities to follow up. Certainly, visitors who come to your BNI group, that is a great way to follow up.

What is the 24/7/30 follow up system?

Today’s topic comes from Dr. Misner’s book Avoiding the Networking Disconnect. Dr. Misner’s co-author Brennan Scanlon came up with this system for following up with new contacts after meeting them at networking events. It’s called the 24/7/30 Follow-up System.
