Is FSU a tough school?

FSU, or any other school, is tough if you make it tough. If you challenge yourself to learn, to excel, to be there for the sake of growing and maturing yourself into someone you want to be, then yeah. It’s tough. And it should be. There’s an enormous amount of opportunity at FSU to do that, but it’s on you.

Is FSU a good school?

Florida State University really is a good school. It has a beautiful campus, a close knit town where everything is less that ten miles away, and wonderful libraries that are open twenty four hours a day. Personally, I love FSU, the atmosphere is simply amazing, everyone you meet is friendly and helpful, and the campus is gorgeous.

Which school is better FSU or UF?

UF has better Doctoral / PA paths by far, FSU higher in Media / Communications / Film / Geology / Gerontology and others. As for most major fields of study, the differences in diplomas mean little to zero. Unless you apply for a dream job and the boss hiring is a huge grad and fan of the “enemy” school, haha.

What is special about FSU?

Specifically:

  • Specialized Studies may be offered at the undergraduate or graduate level.
  • Specialized Studies will not be noted on transcripts.
  • Specialized Studies may not bear the official FSU Registrar’s seal.
  • Specialized Studies may issue a “Recognition of Completion” document.
