What is the magic of Vikings?

The magic of Vikings is in making what you see on the screen seem like it could have taken place in the Viking age, more than a thousand years ago. So, the places where scenes are shot, how those locations are decorated, and what it all ultimately sounds like become incredibly important.

Who is the bearer of bad news on Vikings?

Vikings is a show that famously will kill off just about any character. But whose job is it to tell the actors that their time has come? That would be Producer Keith Thompson, or as the cast as dubbed him, "The Angel of Death." Liam speaks with Keith about being the bearer of bad news, actor George Blagden who has first-hand experience on the matter, and actor Alex Høgh Andersen, who may or may not be hiding in a closet. Also, Vikings armorer John McKenna shows Liam his wares.

Who is the producer of Vikings?

Liam hears from creator Michael Hirst, Producer Morgan O'Sullivan, and Director Johan Renck, who directed the first three episodes of the series. Together, they set the tone for how the world of Vikings would look, sound, and feel, right from the very beginning. Everything from the way characters speak to the bushiness of their eyebrows painted a picture that would endure throughout the series. Also, Liam steps into the world of Production Artist, Dave Wilson, whose work creates the visual look that eventually ends up on screen.
