Who is Kelly Minter and what has she written?
My name is Kelly Minter and I’m a Bible study author and teacher. I’ve written several Bible studies for Lifeway, including Finding God Faithful, All Things New, No Other Gods, Ruth, and a few others. I love to teach the Bible at my Cultivate Events across the country and also locally at my home church.
What is the cultivate podcast?

Why is it important to set aside time to rest?
While we live in a world of busyness and rush, setting aside time to rest is a way of renewing our souls, telling the Lord we trust Him to handle all of life's worries, and celebrating our redemption in Christ! Who doesn't want more of this? If you're tired, worn down, and living without margin, this is an episode that will be so encouraging for your soul.
What does Jesus want to do in your life?
Don't settle for less than the healing Jesus wants to do in your life and heart! He often wants to bring us a deeper healing than what we're even looking for. This week we'll see Jesus not only heal a woman physically who had suffered for 12 years, we'll see Him remove the shame and isolation that plagued her.
What is simplicity spiritual discipline?
We often think of the spiritual discipline of simplicity as a life of lack or being in constant want. But, actually, living simply is about living freely. It's about greater availability to Jesus. And when we're available to Him, when we're not weighed down by all of our stuff, we're free to live the greatest adventure of our lives. There is positively nothing on earth like following Christ.
