What is moms in prayer podcast?

The Moms in Prayer Podcast is a place where we put our finger on the pulse of what is happening in the world so we can better pray for and equip the next generation. Our focus will always be revival and spiritual awakening in our children, our schools, and our motherhood.

Who is the coordinator of Moms in Prayer?

Moms in Prayer Area Coordinator, Terri Camouche, grew up in South Philadelphia and today she sits down to talk to Lee about her experience growing up, finding Jesus, and how God has worked in her and through her to heal racial divisions. Terri’s walk to school every day took her through racially divided streets and physical persecution because of the color of her skin. In Part One of this two-part episode, Terri and Lee discuss Terri’s childhood and path to Jesus. In Part Two they talk about how Moms in Prayer moms can and must pray for children and schools in this time.

Who is Marlae Gritter?

Marlae Gritter is the former Executive Vice-President and Director of Global Advancement for Moms in Prayer International. Marlae has a love for the nations and the Word of God. She has had many opportunities around the world to share her passion and vision for the power of prayer. Marlae and her husband Dave, make their home in Holland, Michigan. She loves hot cups of coffee, and their three married children, and 5 grandchildren.

Who is Terri Carmouche?

Philadelphia native and 1st generation Christian, Terri Carmouche has been intimately involved with Mom's In Prayer International since 2005, while also serving in many other ministries and church traditions in various capacities. As first-generation Christian with a passion for the integration of Theology and Psychology, Terri deeply believes no matter the subject or vocation, that all truth originates from God, thus compelling her forward in pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Trauma.

Who is Susan Shepherd?

Susan Shepherd joyfully serves as the USA Country Coordinator for Moms in Prayer International. When she began praying 23 years ago as a group member, she could never have predicted that she would follow the Lord into leadership as a Group Leader, Area Coordinator, Alabama State Coordinator, Division Coordinator of the Mid-Atlantic and New England, and finally into this role as Country Coordinator. Susan is the wife of her husband, Joe, mom to her two married daughters, and the grandmother of one adorable grandson and another grandbaby on the way. Susan loves to pray, but she also loves coffee with friends, traveling, a good book, and a nap.

Who is Michelle Nietert?

Michelle Nietert M.A., Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor has been providing therapeutic interventions to children and their families in counseling offices for over 20 years. As a previous educator, public school crisis counselor, and youth and children’s minister, she interacts regularly with parents and students at public school assemblies, PTA meetings, local churches, and is the mental health consultant for a local private Christian school. Michelle also provides trainings for school counselors, teachers and homeschool parents. A recognized expert in Solution Focused Therapy, she is the clinical director and owner of a large counseling center in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Michelle’s writing can be found on the MOPS blog, in Lifeway’s Parenting Magazine and she is the Mental Health columnist for Just Between Us Magazine. She also joins her audiences in the parenting trenches as a happily married mom of two school-aged children. Brenda Yoder is an award-winning teacher, national speaker, author, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and life coach whose passion is encouraging others when life doesn’t fit the storybook image.
