I have nothing left to listen to

Hey all, I'm looking for some good story crime podcasts. By story, I mean the entire podcast is focused on one crime. I know it's kind of shitty to all of the people trying to start podcasts, but I honestly really am just interested in stuff done by real reporters.

Court Junkie getting a bit stale lately

Anyone else find Court junkie getting a bit stale lately? The last few cases have been quite boring to me. And now it’s Ahmed Arbery which was so over saturated in the media, that I just don’t care to listen.

Has anyone found a true crime podcast that is done by people who are actually in the criminal justice field?

Vocal quirks of presenters

Ok, so the vocal fry has been done to death, but apart for that I find most vocal quirks amusing or endearing. What are people's favourites, I wonder.

Paris Bennett, 13, Raped And Murdered His 4-Year-Old Sister

The real-life story of Paris Bennett is as horrifying today as it was 14 years ago when Bennett brutally killed his 4-year-old sister after raping her. Bennett, only 13 years old when he committed the heinous atrocity, was sentenced to 40 years in prison and has been in jail since being arrested in 2007.

Sickening Motive, Sickening Thoughts

Apparently, Bennett intended to harm his sister as a means to punish his mother. After convincing the babysitter to leave earlier than usual, Bennett managed to stab his sister an unbelievable seventeen times only to spite his mother. The poor four-year-old girl was sleeping comfortably in her bed when her brother attacked her.

An Insidious Scheme to Murder

In a memoir written by Lee, she reveals that her son had planned on murdering her too, but he was deterred by how difficult it was to kill a person. Bennett did not kill his sister in a moment of impulse; rather, he had carefully crafted a scheme that would bring pain and misery to his mother.

Confessing to the Crime

Once the authorities had arrested the boy, they began interrogating him for an explanation of what looked like an unexplainable crime. At first, Bennett told the police that he had stabbed his sister because his mother had made him angry, and he believed that killing his sister would be an appropriate punishment.

Punishing His Mother

Filled with twisted hate for his mother, Bennett decided to take away both of her children. Lee’s daughter was taken away through the brutal act of murder, and her son, who committed the crime, was taken away to prison.

What Now For The Teen Psychopath?

A few years ago, Bennett expressed to the media that he still takes full responsibility for his crimes and is not insane. Bennett continuously claims that he is not a mentally ill person or an individual who committed this heinous act out of a deranged disposition.
