And they'll follow it call by call by call, like footprints that end up at Adnan's front door. If you look at that call log from January 13, there are thirty four calls that day. Obviously, the first thing they had to do was figure out who all the phone numbers belong to. Home, cell, and pager numbers.

If Serial had been released now

Given the BLM and MeToo movements, how do you think Serial would have been different if it were released today, if at all? Personally, I don't think there's any way Sarah Koenig could have ignored IPV (intimate partner violence) like she did in the original podcast.

Adnan and early release

It was mentioned in the documentary that Adnan was offered early release in 5 years if he pled guilty. If I remember correctly, it was in 2016 or 2017 which means had he pled guilty, he would be out by now. It's understandable why he didn't accept it at that time because it seemed like he had a good chance at an appeal/retrial.
