What is Mike Archer's job?
Mike Archer is looking for a change of scenery after his mom passes. He picks up a new job as a fire watcher as a way of getting away and working on his book. After getting hired he hikes out to his new home for the next half a year. The first night out in the wilderness though brings some unexpected and eerie surprises in the form of creepy whispers and a loud crashing of trees. Things may not be as peaceful as he was hoping... What does Mike tell Amber?
After hearing some classical music playing over the radio, Mike informs Amber who then informs Gene. Worried that there may be some hikers in the area, Gene gives Mike the go ahead to kick out any trespassers, since the area around Tower 4 is closed to the public. Mike takes the day to head to an area known as Site 5.
What is the bond between Amber and Mike?
Mike and Amber have formed a quick bond . While Mike wants to focus on his writing, it is nice to have someone to talk to. Especially after his creepy first night. The next morning, Amber helps Mike find some coffee and explains to him the day-to-day of fire watching. It seems like it'll be boring for the most part, but that's what Mike wants. Nothing but time to work on his book. But after three days pass, another weird interference comes over the radio. Is this a repeat of the first night..?
